Ennis refuses to let LBSU basketball team falter

LONG BEACH – With a standing-room only record crowd of 5,649 on hand Saturday at Walter Pyramid, the scene was set for a hotly contested Big West Conference men’s basketball game between Long Beach State and rival Cal State Fullerton. It figured to be yet another in a long line of hard-fought games for the 49ers because they are the team the rest of the Big West wants to knock off, thanks to their status as circuit favorites.
