Lakers free agency, NBA Draft, and trade options will shape the future of this franchise during the 2019 NBA offseason. The Los Angeles Lakers missed out on the NBA Playoffs yet again, with LeBron James missing the postseason for the first time since 2005. What moves can be made in the Lakers offseason to ensure it doesn’t happen again? We dive into 4 potential starting lineups that the Lakers could feature to start the 2019-20 NBA season based on a BUNCH of hypotheticals and scenarios that could play out this summer.

The 2019 NBA Draft Lottery saw the Lakers emerge as one of the biggest winners as they walked away with the fourth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Could they use that as trade bait for teams like the Washington Wizards for guard Bradley Beal?

The 4 potential Lakers starting lineups next season are:
Status Quo (no big moves)
Help at SG + Center (Bradley Beal and DeMarcus Cousins?)
Upgrades Without Trades (Jimmy Butler + Cousins)
Dream Team (Kyrie Irving + trade for Anthony Davis!)

  12. You can't have a dream team with Kuzma on it. He would be traded to obtain AD. I like Butler, but I'm afraid to give a guy a max contract who's never played 82 games.
